NASW Code of Ethics On Demand Training Now Available

The recording of the October 25th Official National NASW Code of Ethics Revisions Training is now available for on-demand viewing.  In service to the social work community, NASW is offering the recording for viewing free of charge!

If you are interested in receiving CEs, click on the link below. To take the post-test and apply for 2 CEs, users should go to the Purchase Options prompt on the upper-right side of the screen and add “Self-Study” to the Cart.  NASW is offering a special discounted rate through November 30, 2017 of $10 for NASW members and $25 for non-members.  After November 30th, the rate will increase to $25 for NASW members and $40 for non-members.  The site will direct users to make payment and take the post-test to receive continuing education credit.

Social Work Ethics and Veterans/Military Families Mental Health CE Hours: Regular West Virginia Licensed Social Workers are required to earn one hour of Social Work Ethics before each license renewal.  Regular West Virginia Licensed Social Workers and many other WV licensed health professionals are required to earn two hours of behavioral health aspects in serving veterans and/or military families before each license renewal.

WV Social Workers: Up to 5.5 contact hours approved. Certified Provider #490013. Mail the completed form with your license renewal application to: WVBSWE, PO Box 5459, Charleston, West Virginia 25361   FAX: (304) 400-4976  Phone: (304) 400-4980.

Ohio Social Workers: Up to 5.5 contact hours approved by the NASW Ohio Chapter, Provider #333350-042617. Obtain conference official signature prior to leaving. Mail or fax a copy of this form to NASW WV within 30 days to:  NASW WV, 1608 Virginia St. E., Charleston, WV 25311 Fax: 304 720-3766.

WV Addiction/Prevention Professionals: Up to 5.5 contact hours approved. Institutional Provider #AP07-100 recognized by the WV Cert. Board for Addictions and Prevention Professionals.

WV Professional Nurses: Up to 5.4 credit hours approved (does not include SW Ethics). NASW WV is provider #WV2012-0580RN recognized by the WV Board of Registered Professional Nurses. Have your CE form signed, then contact our office for a certificate if this form does not suffice.
